Today

Darling daughter is finally starting to feel better. Thank goodness. Poor thing!

I scrapped a few more lo's. Fun fun fun. And I worked on organizing my folders some. It always makes me feel good to have my scrappy stuff organized. And thanks Julie for showing me that little Windows trick... its so awesome!!

And I've taken the plunge and joined Weight Watchers. Hopefully this will get me back on the right track. I need a healthy change in my eating habits. I'll probably link up some resources on the side bar as I move on this new journey. I haven't done WW before so its all new to me. :D

Well, we haven't left the house since Tuesday because dd was so sick. I'm thinking of making a small break for town to the grocery store and letting her get some fresh air. Hopefully it won't be to much for her.

And an update on the neighbor's dogs... well, we haven't seen them in quite some time. There you go. Looks as though they finally gave them away or fenced in their yard.

It's an absolutely beautiful day here today. It makes me want to hit the lake. When dh gets home I'm going to have him start getting the boat cleaned up and ready for a new season. We love love love being on the water!

Did I mention what we are doing next week? Darling daughter class is going on a field trip (I'm going too) and touring then sleeping over at the science museum. I did this a few years back with my son and it was a blast. Now its dd turn. Yay! It requires quite a bit of walking so we need her ship shape by the end of next week.

And I feel like I'm rambling now so I shall go. Thanks for dropping by! Have a great weekend!

Well, what can I say?

This past weekend was crazy insane and I had the best time!

We all met up at the Oregon Coast and scrapped, shared some tips and tricks, and quickly became friends. This is the nicest group of ladies! And most of us are within driving distance of one another. How cool is that! I had the best time and can't wait to do it again in the future!

This past two weeks have been crazy for my family. I was sick sick sick. Then my son fell sick with the same thing as me. And on Friday my dd started running a fever and having difficulty with her asthma. We took her to the doctor Monday and they just gave her some more asthma meds. Yesterday after school she was feeling worse, so I drew her a bath and found she had a rash. So back to the doctor where they decided to check for and found that she had Strep throat. Lovely. So now they have her on the right meds and we're home for a few days until she's no longer contagious. Poor thing!

I'm counting down the days until summer break and vacation. We have about 8 weeks left. Then we'll have a few days to pack to go camping out on the Lake for a full week. Yes I'm starting to get excited!

So here's some recent lo's and I'll probably finish up a bunch more in the next few days that I had started over the weekend. heheh.

And I think I'll end with a few thoughts on some shows I watch.

Grey's - Oh my. The whole twist and turns with Izzy and George... Were they just using her daughter to draw those two closer together? I thought that was strange. And what do you think McDreamy is going to do about Chief? Is it goodbye Meredith? I know most people hate Christina/Burke but I've always been somewhat fond of their dysfunctional personalities in their relationship. I think its cool that they are moving forward and growing in their relationship. And last... What is with Alex and the pg. lady? That's a little weird!

Dancing with the Stars- I'm ripped that they haven't voted Billy Ray off yet. Enough said!

Lost- Okay I'm not a third season watcher as we just caught up on the whole Lost thing. But still thinking Sawyer's a hottie at the end of season 2. Now I must go see if there's a way to catch up on season three or if I'll have to wait for it to come out on DVD.

1.2.3. Like a bird I sing, cause you've given me the most beautiful set of wings.... okay so that song is in my head. Yes I'm a huge Tim McGraw fan and I just picked up his new cd the other day. Love the end of that song with all the little kids singing!

Enough rambling! Thanks for visiting! Have a great week!

Gone like the wind

Or at least I will be as soon as I see the kids off to school. I have everything packed up and am nearly ready to go. Can't believe its finally time!

And here's what I worked on this week-

This last lo I did was for a special friend. Her grandmother has a birthday coming up and she is putting an album together for her and asked her friends to help out... I was so excited to have the opportunity. Thanks Heather!

I have felt so much better this week. JR went to the doctor on Monday and had the same thing as me just not as bad. His prescription finally kicked in and he too is feeling better. So of course darling daughter wakes this morning and now she has a bit of a sore throat. :( I feel bad for her. Being icky feeling is no fun!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend! I'll be back in my next post with some fun pics! Bye!

Lost

but not gone forever. Hehe.

So how have you all been? Well I hope! Me? Well I'm a sickling. Actually this afternoon I finally started feeling better. I went to the doctor on Friday and had a severe (and I stress severe) sinus infection and bronchitis. Lovely. I came home from the doctors Friday, went to bed and didn't get out of bed until sometime Sunday afternoon. Yes I slept this off. So unlike me, but I'm grateful that I was able to do that. I still felt like death warmed over this morning but work couldn't do without me today, so I went in. Blah.

Speaking of "Lost" I'm totally getting into this series. I bought season 1 a few weeks ago and had to go back for season 2. I must confess... although I like Jack (I loved him as Charlie on Party of Five) Bad Boy Sawyer is my fav. ;) I love his sarcasim!

And the neighbors dog thingie... Well, their dog/s were over everyday last week, sometimes several times in the day until Thursday or so. We haven't seen hide nor hair of them since. That's a long stretch. I'm wondering if they got rid of their canine friends. :S

Anyway... I just wanted to check in here. I need to go do a little packing since this Friday I am heading to the beach for a long weekend to meet up with 35 other digi scrappers from the Pacific Northwest. I'm so super excited! Can't wait to meet them all!

Thanks for stopping by and you all have a great week!

Happy Easter!

So the dog was back on Thursday as well as Friday. They are so not even making an effort here. GRRRRRRRRRR!

Thursday was a beautiful day and in the afternoon we went to a friends baseball game. Actually I took the kids down to the park a little early and let them run and play. Here's a lo I did of darling daughter chasing butterflies there. And another of myself and my darling little pooch whom came along. He totally loves getting out and about.

And then Friday was another gorgeous day. You would have thought it was summer time. We mowed the lawn and brought out some of our patio furniture and cleaned up the yard. It was nice to spend some time out in the sun for a second day in a row.

Last night we watched Happy Feet. It's a cute movie. The kids kept picking out characters that they thought resembled themselves. That in itself gave us a good laugh.

Today we did some housework then went to see ARE WE DONE YET? I've been promising the kids for weeks that we'd go see it on spring break. It was a cute movie. Afterwards we bowled a few games. Lots of fun!

Well I'd better go. It's nearly dinner time and then we are coloring eggs. I hope you all have a wonderful and most happy Easter!

We're back...

So Sunday we packed up and headed out for a couple of days. We rented a little cabin up at Mt. Hood. It was really nice and relaxing! He's a pic of the cabin and then a view from the front porch. We played board games, hiked, swam, played pool and ping pong. The kids tossed a frisbee around and played football and badmidden. It's really so much fun when we escape for a few days to our little spot.

We came home on Tuesday mid afternoon. I'd say we were home all of five minutes when the neighbors dog came running over to our property. So I walked it back over and they were home but wouldn't answer the door. (insert rolling eyes emoticon here) So I walk back home and the dog stayed on their porch for a few minutes then was right back over on our property. I called and left them a message. The sweet little dog sat on my front porch until bedtime when they finally came and got him. Grrrrrrr!

And just to make clear- I have no problems with the dog whatsoever. I'm irked that the neighbors are poor pet owners and are making their problem my problem. *sigh*

Well back to spring break... it's moving entirely to fast. Today is already Thursday! I can't believe it! I need to clean my bedroom, catch up on laundry, go through mail and pay bills, and get a little yard work done this afternoon. If its warm this afternoon I think I might even take the kids to the park. :D

And in scrappyland I have a few things I finished up this week. Let's see... the first two are of some older pics of darling daughter and the last is of dear hubby from this week's trip. lol.

Well, I would rather play all day here on the computer but the to do list is demanding my attention. You all have a super Thursday and thanks so much for visiting!
