Great weekend!

Well this weekend has been pretty fun. Friday my son had some friends stay overnight. Saturday, darling daughter was starting to feel better and looking forward to going to the school carnival in the evening... which we had great fun at. And today after church, darling daughter and I went shopping. I was in need of some new black shoes and I found two awesome pair. :D

So I was a little scappy this weekend and made a bunch of recipe cards for a swap I'm in. And I made one layout of my son with his new braces. :D

Wow this week has flown by!

I worked all week during the day and took care of the recuperating little ones in the afternoons and evenings. Dear son is doing well now. Darling daughter is still sick! Ack! Back to the doctors yesterday and now we get to try another prescription and add a sinus infection to the list of her ailments. Poor thing!

So, no scrapping done durning the past few days. I hope to do some this weekend though. :D

And here's a pic of a bracelet I made for a very musically inclined friend of mine last weekend.

Kind of fun and different. :)
Have a fantastic day!

Re-lax-ation

Finally got some much needed R&R this weekend as the kids are well on the road to health again. Had a friend over on Saturday and we had a nice visit while I did her hair. That evening my darling daughter and I watched a marathon of movies. Sunday was pretty lazy and I even took a nap in the afternoon. (Of course that was because I had an awful headache, but none the less.)

I also did a little scrapping. Here's a quicky~

Fabulous Friday?!?!?!

They both had pneumonia. Last night was a better night which equals a much better day today though! An update? Well, darling daughter is now on a prescription. And dear son who is also still recuping went to bed two hours early last night. They both got lots of good rest.

And last night while they were snoozing, I was able to get a little scrappy with some of Holly's stuff. :)

Today should be a great day. If all goes well, dear son will be getting an orthodontic contraption removed from his mouth and his braces put on. Yes! must remember to take the camera. :D
Have a great day all!

And again we're off...

to the doctors. Dear son is feeling better but darling daughter is still not well. This ick has been in the house for more than a week and boy is it starting to take its toll on me. My starbucks isn't cutting it this morning and I woke with a killer headache. :(

Here's a quickie LO I wanted to share. Its of last spring break when we took the kids skiing for their first time. And yes I have things from a year ago that still need scrapped. :P

So I treated myself to some new kits this week that I've just finished downloading. Maybe once the headache is gone I can get scrappy.
Have a great day all!

Happy Monday

How is it that one sick child tends mulitply to sick children in no time.

Since we were home all weekend I worked on a few LO's. Some are still wip's but one I'm ready to share. I must say its not for the faint of heart. hehe! I am scared to death of dentists but clearly dear son is not. ;)

Amazing! Its still snowing!

For living in Washington state, we rarely see snow unless we go looking for it. Yesterday we got about 6" throughout the day. A lot of it was so wet that it was melting by afternoon when the temp rose. Last night we got more - 2" and its supposed keep on coming today. I would be happy if I could sit at home like yesterday and enjoy it but I *have* to run into town this morning. Ugh!

Yesterday I was able to scrap a some. The first LO is of our new bookcase which we recently found on sale. Its beautiful oak and about 4 time the size of the the old one. The kids were SO excited to fill it up.

It's snowing!

We woke this morning to a couple inches of snow. Its ssooooooooooo pretty! Here's a pic of darling daughter gazing out the window at the snow falling.

And dear son is sick at home today, so here I am while he's resting.

A little about me... I have been paper scrapping for ten years. A few short months ago I went to the dark side and delved into digital scrapping. I love love love it. So here are a couple of my favorites for today if you care to look.
