A title?

No time for a title. Hehe!

Just a quick fly by as it is WAY past my bed time. But I am trying really hard not to neglect my blog with the craziness of my schedule.

Today my son was given the grand tour of the Junior High School. He'll start the seventh grade next year and it means new stomping grounds for him. He was very excited. I on the other hand can't believe I... uh, I mean- he's that old. *sniff*

Tomorrow I have to report. Yep I was called in for service. So... We'll see what happens. My darling daughter is preforming in the talent show at school on Thursday so I have the fingers and toes crossed that I'll be available that day. And if that doesn't work out my good friend is going to tape it... bless her heart!

After dinner I scrapped a little while watching part of a movie. (A little stress relief... thank goodness!)

Tis the weekend again... already!?!?!

I really don't know where the time has gone lately. Life almost feels surreal at the moment. So much to do and so little time that its just gone in the blink of an eye.

The dishwasher went in without a hitch and is wonderful.

We've picked the boat back up and are looking forward to taking it out for a test run tomorrow afternoon.

I don't know how but I've managed to squeek by without serving on Jury duty last week. One week to go.

We've done all the shopping and dispursing of end of the school year gifts to teachers and staff. It's a relief to have it done.

Friday morning I woke with a itch to go through my stamps. I filled two photo boxes and took them into work to sell. One box was emptied by the end of the day and I was a $100.00 richer. Maybe I'll put it towards that printer I've been eyeing. ;)

Yesterday and much of today I've been doing things around the house. Although yesterday I did take a little break to fiddle with the settings on my blog. Added the slides too. During the course of today I did do a LO that I'd like to share. :D

I don't think I've scrapped in a couple of weeks. Boy did I miss it! 6 more days until summer break. I can't wait!

Oh! Friday I had my end of the year review at work and must say I was very pleased with the results. So... overall it was a great week. Hope yours was too!

Rain rain go away....

And yes when it rains in pours. :S

We took the boat out that and had a great time when I last posted pics. It was the first time out in it and it was clear it needed a bit of attention so we took it in to have the motor serviced. It was in and out of the shop in a reasonable time and then it rained and rained and rained. Where did our beautiful sunshine go? We had a break last Monday and so dh and I dropped it back in the water had a difficult time getting it started up. Finally it did and we ran it about for a short while, stopped to fish, went to leave and were stranded. The motor wouldn't go into gear. We had to be towed back to the dock. Nice! So its back in the shop having the motor rebuilt. Urgh! On the bright side, it'll be done and in fine shape before our vacation.

And if that wasn't enough, our dishwasher is broken. I hate hate hate doing dishes. The kitchen is my least favorite household chore indoor or out. Dh is supposed to go buy and install a new one on Monday... I wish him luck. ;)

My dh's work has switched from one cellular phone company to another recently leaving us the responcibility to buy out of our old contract. Grrr! But the silver lining is what I got today...

Now to find some time to download some tunes. :D

Sorry for the grumbly post. Just so much going on right now and not at all what I had planned. *sigh*

Boating fun!

Well we are so excited to finally get a boat. This week was just gorgeous outside so dear hubby picked us all up one afternoon from school/work and we went out on the lake. We had the BEST time playing and fishing!

With school winding down for the year there are bunches of activities going on for the kids right now. Which of course makes me even more busy than ever... don't ya love how that works?

Darling daughter just finished up volleyball camp and is now preparing to play her guitar in the talent show.

We have a huge book report and a huge science report due in the next couple of weeks as well that need to be done primarily at home.

Busy, busy, busy!!!

Disappearing act?

Nah! I have had a whirlwind of activity in real life this past two weeks including but not limited to computer and phone problems. ;)

So in my time off of the internet I did spring cleaning and rearranged all my furniture in my house. Cleaned and sold our RV which seemed to be sitting more than it deserved. I then bought a boat and have been shopping for items needed in that area. Plus I've been planning out vacation which isn't coming soon enough. I also recieved a jury summons. Luckily it is for a two week service, three weeks before our vacation so it should work out well.

It seems my posts may be touch and go between now and when we return from vacation.

I managed only one LO in all this time so here she is-

Sweet nothings...

Well, I haven't a great deal to say this morning... I tried blogging yesterday to find I couldn't. I hope that blogger doesn't have those issues regularly... since that is one of the reasons I switched from MSN spaces. We shall see.

Last Friday we went to the Wine and Crab Festival. We did have a great time. It was a lot of fun and I think we would most certainly go again in the future. Everything and I mean everything was overpriced. We were a little surprised by that but we'll keep it in mind for future trips. We both found a favorite wine at the event and of course purchased some. :D

Work has been extremely stressful lately and when I think it can't get much worse, it does. UGH! Anyhoo... it gives me extra pleasure at times like these when I can escape and do something crafty and here's it is.
